New blog

Well I decided that I am going to start using blog spot for updates rather than myspace. Myspace has gotten ehh, and well I am not really that fond of it anymore, though I will keep my account because I do have friends who are die-hard fans of the site. But this one seems more mellow and more "not so much of a hassle" on trying to keep away junk.
Well Truman is still in the academy. We have hit the halfway mark now. All he has left is the rest of this month and next month, then he graduates on December 3rd and comes home December 4th. Yay! I am way excited to almost have him home. Though I can say that I have become accustomed to living alone now and almost enjoy it. But I will enjoy it more when my honey comes home. I still do not like the night time. I do not like being alone at night, but I do not mind it. I have gotten into a routine and so things have definitely gotten better since August 6th (when Truman left). Wow I can not believe that it has been that long. Its been 2 months already and then some. We are almost finished.
Another thing that is coming up soon is mine and Truman's anniversary. It will be one year! I can not believe how time has flown! Of course about 3 months of that he has been away. But then he comes back and then we have time and all eternity.
Truman has midterms this week. He has been passing everything so far this week and so I know he will continue doing good on all his other exams. I am proud of him. He is working very hard. Tomorrow we will go and pick him up so he can come home for the weekend. He is excited to come home. Though it is only 3 1/2 hours away, it is a 8 hour trip for me to go and bring him back and then it turns into a 16 hour trip when I take him back. Hopefully soon we will have a new vehicle. I am working on that.
Well as for more scatted updates...we moved to a new home. It is a lot bigger and nicer than the last one. Though I can not complain about the last house. It worked great for us by being only 350 a month ALL bills paid. It was a great place to start. But now that we have a good income coming in, we wanted something that we could be comfortable in. At the other place, the bedroom did not have a door, one had to walk through it to go to the bathroom, and the living room and kitchen were all in the same area, just separated by a wall and a bar. And the ceilings were very low, which made it hard for my tall husband to go through the doorways. And the yard outside was nothing but cement. But like I said, it worked its purpose for us and I am grateful that we were able to afford our own place. Now we are able to move up and get a better place. The new place is wonderful! The ceilings are high, and the walls are bright and clean. There is a big backyard that had grass and a 6-foot privacy fence. There is grass in the front yard as well as a pecan tree in front and in back. We live in a triplex, but you would not even know for the fences are tall and the garages separate the apartments. Which beings me to the garage. Which we do have. But the cats are currently living there until I feel that they can be outside and know their surroundings.
